Practical Nurse, CER
The Practical Nurse Program has received full approval from the Michigan Board of Nursing.
Graduates of this program are eligible to take the NCLEX-PN licensing exam, which is a standard exam developed by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. The Michigan Board of Nursing may deny LPN licensure to an applicant who has been convicted of a crime or is addicted to drugs or alcohol.
Nursing - LPN to ADN Ladder
Baker College of Auburn Hills LPN to ADN Ladder has received full approval from the Michigan Board of Nursing. The Associate Degree in Nursing at Baker College of Auburn Hills was specifically designed as a ladder program. Students may apply to take the PN NCLEX exam through the Michigan Board of Nursing after successful completion of the first three (3) quarters of the LPN to ADN Nursing Ladder program. Students can then complete the last three (3) quarters of this program and apply to take the RN NCLEX exam.
Associate Degree in Nursing
Baker College of Allen Park has received initial approval from the Michigan Board of Nursing. Baker College of Auburn Hills, Cadillac, Clinton Township, Flint, Owosso, and Muskegon have received full approval from the Michigan Board of Nursing. Baker College of Owosso is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. (ACEN) formerly (NLNAC).
