One stepping stone to a career as an Architect is architectural technology, where your job provides the link between the Architect and the construction crew. In our Architectural Technology Program, you study the entire process—from blueprint to building—and learn how to take architectural drawings and turn them into reality.
Our industry professionals teach you how to do research, prepare construction drawings and 3-D models, select and test materials, estimate costs, evaluate building systems, and write specifications. At the same time, you develop your knowledge of computer-aided drafting, construction methods and materials, and construction project supervision. You also have an externship opportunity, giving you practical experience in the industry. When you graduate, you will be ready for any one of several entry-level positions in the field.
