Caterer
Catering is both a business and an art and requires a broad range of skills and talents—artistry, efficiency, cooking expertise, marketing, and management skills. Our Culinary Arts curriculum can provide the training that prepares you to serve culinary specialties safely as well as the business classes you need to learn how to manage budgets and staff.
At Baker, you study under experienced chefs and other food service professionals who work in the business. Class sizes are small, so you have plenty of hands-on training and one-on-one attention. Through classwork, labs, and internship opportunities, you learn how to develop menus, artfully prepare culinary specialties, and manage a food service operation profitably. When you graduate from our program, which is accredited by the American Culinary Federation (ACF), you will be fully prepared to take your certification exam.
