Management Explore your career.

As a General Manager, you plan, direct, or coordinate operations in an organization or corporation. Your work is diverse and general in nature and includes developing policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources.

The Management program at Baker College is a broad-based business curriculum that prepares you for a rewarding career in a variety of organizations. The working professionals who teach at Baker bring their personal experiences into the classroom and use actual case study examples to demonstrate textbook theories and principles. You develop communication and a full range of leadership and decision-making skills in a learning environment that is more like an actual working environment than a classroom.

We’re doing our term project on teaching the rest of the classroom how to do something you would do in everyday life as a manager… you’re learning something you’re going to use every day.
