Leadership Certificate
The Baker College Leadership Certificate is a comprehensive 64-hour leadership development program that builds critical leadership competencies. The knowledge and skills included in the program are based on the work of Dr. Daniel Denison who has spent more than 15 years researching the correlations between organizational culture and management practices with bottom-line organizational performance factors such as return on assets, return on investment, product development, sales growth, and market share.
The Baker College Leadership Certificate is a non-credit certificate designed to develop the essential leadership competencies identified by Denison in his research with more than 1,000 organizations and 40,000 organizational leaders. The competencies are grouped into four leadership traits that impact performance: Involvement, Consistency, Adaptability and Mission. Eight one-day classes form the core curriculum:

Based on the identified needs of your organization, the Leadership Certificate can also be customized to focus on specific leadership development traits. Twelve secondary level classes provide additional development in each of the four leadership traits identified by Denison.
