Organizational Culture Survey
Baker College uses the Denison Culture Survey, a 60-item questionnaire that measures specific aspects of the organization's culture in each of four culture traits and twelve management practice areas. Individual surveys are typically administered electronically to either the entire employee population or sample groups. The results are tabulated into a graphic profile that compares your organization’s culture to norms of higher and lower-performing organizations. In addition to identifying current organizational strengths and weaknesses, the survey provides a baseline that can be used to track progress toward achieving a high-performance culture. The survey takes approximately 15 minutes for participants to complete and can be used to:
- Measure the existing culture and predict its impact on performance
- Benchmark the culture to other organizational cultures
- Examine sub-cultures within the company
- Determine organizational development needs so that targeted improvement strategies can be designed
- Determine leadership development needs to facilitate a higher performing culture
Included in the comprehensive narrative report is a graphic representation of the organization’s culture and various sub-cultures.
