Purpose: The Baker SHRM Chapter #5514 offers access to all of the national member benefits PLUS campus speakers, programs and support from other HR students. You will also get a membership to HRAGD (Human Resource Association of Greater Detroit) with your SHRM membership. Conferences, mentoring programs, monthly journals, internet research data bases, scholarships and much more await! Join now! Activities: Monthly meetings offer guest speakers, planning sessions for HR activities, time to network with other HR students, conferences and HRAGD networking events. There is something for everyone. Requirements: There are no requirements to attend a meeting so stop by and check it out. If you decide to join SHRM, you can get the student rate for $35.00 and this includes access to on-line data bases, monthly journals and free HRAGD membership! Meetings: Meetings are typically held at 5:00 on the first Thursday of the month. You can also check the bulletin board outside of the bookstore for more information.
