The Learning Support Services Department on the Cadillac campus offers a variety services, tools, and resources to help students be successful at Baker College. Located in the 200 Wing, and included under the LSS umbrella is the Learning Center, the Writing Assistance Center, the Math Assistance Center, and the Accounting Lab.

- Break Between Quarters
- Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5 p.m., except Tuesdays.
- To accommodate individuals needing a later time for Compass testing, we are open until at least 6:30, and as long as a test has been started by 6:30, we will stay open until finished.
Tutoring
The Cadillac LSS Department offers tutoring for a wide range of subject areas. Students can schedule individual tutoring sessions, attend a small group session (subjects vary) or seek assistance in the Accounting, Math or Writing centers. To schedule an appointment call 876-3123 or stop in the LSS.
Testing
For questions regarding testing or to schedule an appointment to complete a waiver test contact Tammy Kangas. In addition, disability students who have been granted testing accommodations and individuals who are not Baker students, but need a test proctored can also contact Tammy. The Learning Center does NOT proctor make-up quizzes or tests.
Workshops
The LSS Department offers a variety of learning workshops each quarter including sessions on Time Management, Effective Note-Taking Strategies, Test Taking Strategies, Understanding APA Formatting, Conducting College Level Research, and more. Information regarding workshop days, times & room numbers are available in the Learning Center. In addition, instructors who would like a workshop presented in a class may contact Sherry Warfield.
