Campus: Owosso Group / Company Name: Residence Life Description: Monday, January 21, 2013 7:00pm: Brother Outsider: The Life of Bayard Rustin (film and discussion) http://newsreel.org/video/BROTHER-OUTSIDER-BAYARD-RUSTIN Brother Outsider is a film chronicling the political career of MLK’s political advisor and the organizer of the March on Washington. Rustin hasn’t been acknowledged in history books as Rustin was an openly gay male, despite his huge contributions to the civil rights movement. This event will take place in the Fireside Room of the Student Center.
