Lynn Rogers has made an impact on so many things in his tenure at Baker College of Owosso. Not only has he been a driving force for the Auto/Diesel Institute (ADI), but Lynn has also taken on our newly implemented welding program; he has been a campus champion for the Academic Improvement Model (AIM) project at the system; he has helped develop the curriculum for our Service Management bachelor degree, and he has just been awarded a Jewell Education Fund grant to build a metallurgy lab on campus. In just two short years, Lynn has already done so much.
On top of that hard work, Lynn has also been instrumental in two large milestones for the college. First, Lynn helped ADI become the only college in Michigan to achieve Master Accreditation through NATEF for our Diesel program. That accreditation helps us reaffirm our stance as the leader of Diesel education in Michigan. Secondly, Lynn has been a tremendous resource from initial idea through the final completion of our new state of the art ADI facility. This facility is going to be a focal point for automotive and diesel service training in not only Michigan, but also the region.
Congratulations Lynn on being awarded Employee of the Quarter for Fall 2012!
