Parking and Permit Info:

Q. Where Can I Get My Parking Permit?
A. All parking permits can be obtained at the Campus Safety Office free of charge. You must have a parking permit properly displayed in order to park on Baker College of Owosso properties.

Q. How do I Display My Parking Permit?
A. Parking permits must always be displayed while on campus, in plain sight either on the rear view mirror or on the driver’s side dash board (unobstructed from view). Failure to properly display your parking permit may result in a parking ticket (see fine schedule) or towing at the owner's expense.

Q. How Many Permits Can I Get?
A. *Commuter students are allowed to have 2 parking permits. **Residence Hall students are ONLY allowed to have 1 parking permit.

Q. Can I Have a Motorcycle on Campus?
A. Yes. There is a different permit for motorcycles.

Q. Where Can I Park?
A. Only residence hall students can park in the lots adjacent to their respective residence halls. Commuter student may park in any area other than residence hall parking and those designated by signs restricting spots for designated individuals such as handicapped parking, admissions only parking, campus safety vehicles only and others.

Q. Can I Leave My Vehicle Here Overnight or During Break?
A. Vehicles cannot be left in the parking lots overnight or during breaks without special permission from the Campus Safety Office.

Vehicle Maintenance

All cars in the parking lot must be in working order. They must be able to start and be moved. This includes tire maintenance. Disabled vehicles must be immediately reported to the Campus Safety Office and plans made for their removal. Vehicle maintenance and repair may NOT occur in any campus parking lot.
