Academic Probation
If the student’s cumulative grade point average falls below the appropriate minimum grade point average on the step scale illustrated on the Academic Probation and Dismissal page, the student will be placed on academic probation for the following quarter. The student will be advised to restrict his/her class load and curtail extracurricular activities and work schedules. The student will be removed from academic probation at the end of the quarter in which his/her cumulative grade point average meets the requirements of the step scale.
