Welcome to Baker College of Owosso!

It is my sincere pleasure and honor to welcome you to our campus. Baker College of Owosso has been at its current location since January of 1984. We began offering courses for approximately 125 students during that first quarter of operation and enrollment has soared to over 2700 students in just over twenty years. The Owosso campus is located in a rural community within the boundaries of Shiawassee County. We are the only post-secondary degree granting college physically located within the county.

Baker College of Owosso prides itself in keeping pace with the latest technologies, along with up-to-date curriculum that provides training and education for high demand careers. As a career oriented institution, we stay on the "cutting edge" of what employers are asking for in new recruits. Our employment rate over the past five years has averaged 98.9% for Baker College of Owosso graduates. Not only do we provide the education and training necessary for students, we also offer all of our graduates lifetime employment assistance.

Our "always look new" concept is a major attraction to any one of the Baker College locations. Baker College of Owosso maintains 33 acres and several "Swiss Chalet" buildings. We have invested millions of dollars on renovating buildings across our campus, as well as constructing several new buildings to accommodate our expanded course offerings. We have the capacity to house over 500 students in our three residence halls.

Baker College of Owosso has a continuous commitment to our customers. We consider our students our customers, and we make every attempt to make their educational experience a pleasant one. We believe learning is a mutual responsibility between the college and the student. Students need to take ownership in their learning process. Faculty and staff assist the students in fulfilling their dreams through facilitation of the learning process.
