Types of Work Aid

There are two types of Work Aid available to Baker College students:

Federal Work Study is funded by the Federal Government and is available to students who apply for financial aid and have financial need.

Michigan Work Study is available to students who are Michigan residents and who apply for financial aid and have financial need.

In order to qualify for either type of work study, the student must first apply for financial aid. For more information about the application process, see How to Apply for Financial Aid.

In addition, the following requirements must be met:

• Must maintain a cumulative grade point of 2.0 or better
• Must remain in good academic standing including maintaining Baker College’s Standards of Academic Progress requirements.
