How to Setup VMware Academy

The VMware WebStore will be located on the bottom of the Blackboard main page.

Log-on to Blackboard using your current userid and password at https://ol.baker.edu.

Scroll down the Modules List and select the "VMware WebStore Module".

Click "Click here to go to VMware WebStore".

Directions on Obtaining Software

Click the available link in the VMware Academy Module.  Navigate to the page which displays the software search options.

Select the product you need and click "Go".

You will be presented with a list of available titles.  Select your preference and click "Add to Cart".

Once you have made all of your software selections, click "Check Out".

You will be presented with the VMware Academic End User License agreement (EULA).  If you agree to the EULA, click "I Accept".

Enter the required contact information and click "Proceed with Order" to continue.

Click "Download Options" link and follow the instructions to save the download to your workstation.

The Baker College Helpdesk will not assist in troubleshooting or installation of VMware software.  Installation and troubleshooting are the sole responsibility of the user.

All users are bound by the VMware Academic software agreement and licensing.

Each user automatically agrees to all of the above when purchasing software through the VMware Academic program.

Violation of the above terms may result in the revocation of VMware Academic access for current and future classes.
