The goal of the Baker College Human Subjects Institutional Review Board (IRB) is to work with faculty to promote research that protects all participants, the College and its investigators.
The intent of the Human Subject Policy and related review procedures is to safeguard the rights and welfare of human subjects (by the elimination or minimization of research-related risks and the requirement for informed and voluntary participation by subjects) and to ensure Baker College is in compliance with Federal rules.
