Research Oversight Committee
Baker College has established a research oversight committee to raise awareness about the amount and type of research being conducted by members of the Baker College Community as well as research being conducted by others on Baker College Campuses. The Research Oversight Committee does not approve research, but serves as a clearinghouse for information on current research. The research oversight committee maintains a database of current and past research, aids in the dissemination of information concerning internal funding opportunities, provides assistance with research data, analysis and dissemination as requested, and aids in the flow of information to the Institutional Review Board and the Institutional Animal Care and Use committee (IACUC).
It is the policy of Baker College that all research conducted on Baker College premises, or research conducted by any employee or student of the college as part of their role in the college be reported to the Research Oversight Committee. Reporting is done using the Institutional Research Request form which can be found under the FORMS link at left.
