Computer Training

Computer training is available to all Baker College employees for various computer software and hardware through each campus' Professional Development Representative or e-mail: training@baker.edu. We provide group training as well as departmental or one-on-one training. Our aims are:

  1. To help make Baker College faculty and staff as productive as possible
  2. To help make presentations, reports, and other computer output that Baker College faculty and staff produce understandable, professional, and attractive
  3. To help Baker College faculty and staff develop the attitudes, knowledge, and skills necessary to learn technical skills on their own
  4. To create and maintain user-friendly documentation for hardware, software, and policies and procedures
  5. To learn and demonstrate the capability of hardware and software, making recommendations when appropriate
