2013 Graduation Information

Cap and gown packages will be available for pick up beginning Tuesday, May 28 through Thursday, June 6 in the bookstore during their regular business hours. Please be prepared to show your picture ID when picking up your cap and gown packet.

Graduation announcements may be ordered online at www.cbgrad.com.

Professional photographer, Bianchi Photography, will be taking photos of each graduate. Proofs can be viewed and orders placed via, www.gradphotonetwork.com.

Flowers will be available for purchase at Compuware Arena the day of the ceremony.

Auburn Hills

DATE:  Commencement is held once per year for all current year graduates.  The ceremonies on Saturday, June 8th, 2013 will include graduates from Fall 2012, and Winter, Spring and Summer 2013.

  • 12:00pm: Business, Education, Human Services and Technical (including Graphic Communication)
  • 4:00 pm:  Health Sciences

PARTICIPATION:  Students who will complete their program during the summer quarter may participate if enrolled for all remaining classes.  Summer graduates who are not enrolled for all remaining requirements may be denied participation.

LOCATION:  The ceremony is held at The Apostolic Church of Auburn Hills, on Squirrel Road just north of Tienken Road.  The address is 3655 N. Squirrel, Auburn Hills, 48326.

REGALIA:  Cap & gown distribution days are 1-2 weeks prior to the ceremony.  Tickets, honor cords (if eligible) and all remaining information will also be distributed at that time.  Cap & Gown Distribution Days:  Thursday, May 30th, in the Student Center and Tuesday, June 4th, in the Tech Building student break room.

HOURS:  10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

ATTIRE:  Commencement Day is a proud occasion; please dress to impress!  Jeans, shorts, t-shirts, flip flops, casual sandals and athletic shoes are not appropriate.

TICKETS:  Ten (10) tickets. The Career Services office is unable to provide additional tickets. Graduates are encouraged to give their extra tickets to individuals who need them. Alternatively, extra tickets may be left in the fishbowl on the entrance table at the church, on the day of the ceremony. Those who need additional tickets should network with other graduates, or check the fishbowl shortly before the ceremony starts.

PHOTOGRAPHS:  The proofs are emailed approximately 2-3 days after the ceremony.  Orders must be placed through Graduation Foto Company.  Graduation Foto: www.graduationfoto.com or (734)677-3400.

Graduation ceremony will be held on Friday, June 7th, 2013.

Cass City

The Cass City graduation ceremony will be held on Friday, June 7, 2013, 7:00 p.m. at the Cass City Middle School located at 4805 Ale St, Cass City, MI 48726.

Cap and Gown pick-up begins Thursday, May 30 - Wednesday, June 5, 2013.

Application for Graduation
Accurate completion of the graduation application is vital for the preparation of your diploma and the posting of your graduation to the permanent record of the College.

Graduation Fee
A $50 graduation fee is due upon submission of the attached application form. Please see the Business Office regarding payment.

Participation
Students who graduated from programs during the summer & fall 12, or winter 13 quarters may participate. Spring 13 quarter students may participate if all required classes will be completed by the end of the spring quarter. Summer 13 quarter students may also walk if all courses will be completed at the end of that quarter. Note: Students who are not enrolled in all classes required for graduation, may be denied participation in the ceremony.

Determination of Graduate Honors
The wearing of honor cords in the commencement ceremony will be determined by the student's winter quarter cumulative G.P.A. No exceptions will be made. If a graduate's honor status changes with the final degree audit, the graduate may pick up the appropriate honor cord from the Registrar's Office and will receive that honor status designation on their diploma and transcript.

Honor cords may be worn by Associate and Bachelor degree graduates with a qualifying G.P.A.

Diplomas
Diplomas and certificates will be mailed approximately eight weeks after program completion.

Online/Graduate Studies

The 2012/13 graduation ceremony for the Online/Center for Graduate Studies will be held on Friday, June 7, 2013 at 7 p.m. at the Whiting Auditorium in Flint, Michigan. Caps and gowns will be mailed to students approximately May 17, 2013.

Clinton Township

Clinton Township Graduation will take place on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Bethesda Christian Church, 14000 Metropolitan Parkway in Sterling Heights. Ceremonies are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. for Health Sciences, Education and Human Service programs and at 3 p.m. for all Business and Technical programs.

Commencement
All students participating in the ceremony will receive a letter in mid-April with information concerning cap and gown pick-up as well as specifics about the ceremony.

Participation
Students who graduated from programs during the summer, fall, or winter quarters may participate. Spring quarter students may participate if all required classes will be completed by the end of the spring quarter. Summer quarter students may also walk if all courses will be completed at the end of that quarter. Note: Students who are not enrolled in all classes required for graduation may be denied participation in the ceremony.

Determination of Graduate Honors

Corporate Services of Clinton Township

Congratulations on being so close to your academic objective! We look forward to your participation in the annual commencement ceremony.  All of the Corporate Services faculty and administrative staff will be there to cheer you on as you cross the stage.

The Annual Graduation ceremony will be held Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the Perani Arena and Event Center.

Graduation Fee
A one-time $50.00 graduation fee is required. Please see the Business Office regarding payment. Additionally, those students who have received financial aid or student loans must complete an "Exit Interview" form.  This form is available in the Financial Aid Office or online at http://www.baker.edu/departments/finaid/loans/exit-loan-counseling/

The Annual Graduation ceremony will be held Friday, June 7th, 2013 at 7:00pm, at Jackson High School Auditorium.
All students participating in the ceremony will receive a letter in early May with instructions on when and where they can pick up their cap and gown as well as specifics about the ceremony.

The Annual Graduation ceremony will be held Friday, June 7, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the L.C. Walker Arena, 955 Fourth Street, Muskegon.

Spring quarter students may participate if all required classes will be completed by the end of the spring quarter. Summer quarter students may also walk if all courses will be completed at the end of that quarter. Owosso


The Annual Graduation ceremony will be held Friday, June 7, 2013 at the Perani Arena and Event Center. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30pm. Graduates will need to arrive for line-up and instructions no later than 5:30pm.

All students participating in the ceremony will receive a letter in early May with instructions on when and where they can pick up their cap and gown as well as specifics about the ceremony.
