Baker College of Auburn Hills to Host BPA Regional Leadership Conference

Students from 13 area high schools will compete
Baker College of Auburn Hills will host the Business Professionals of America (BPA) Regional Leadership Conference (RLC) on its campus on Friday, January 11, 2013. Approximately 475 area high school BPA student members will participate in the event, competing for regional awards in more than 50 categories under four primary classifications, including financial services, administrative support, information technology, and management, marketing and human resources.

Special public viewing on World AIDS Day, Dec. 1
Baker College of Muskegon will display sections of the 54-ton AIDS memorial quilt from Nov. 27 to Dec. 1 in the Student Center, 1903 Marquette Ave., Muskegon. The general public is invited to a special viewing on World AIDS Day, Saturday, Dec. 1, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The handmade tapestry is a memorial to the more than 92,000 individuals who have died from AIDS.

The sessions are free and open to the public.
