Stimak, Baker College of Cadillac and Baker College System therapeutic massage program coordinator, has been selected by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as government relations committee representative. Baker College of Owosso's governing board gave final approval to begin construction of a $6 million, 43,000 square foot, state-of-the-art Auto/Diesel Institute (ADI) of Michigan facility. The new building, which will be located on S. M-52, directly across the road from Baker's Welcome Center, will replace the current ADI facility and allow space for new and expanding programs. More»

Baker College of Flint once again invited high school and middle school students to participate in Robotics Camp. This was the third year that the free event was held for area high school students and the second year for middle school students. A total of 18 students from six area high schools and 22 students from 12 middle schools, including Chittenango Middle School in New York, attended the 5-day event. More»

Baker College of Allen Park is adding a new Cisco broadband/health care IT program to its curriculum this fall. The program focuses on broadband, network security, wireless and health care IT training skills necessary to fulfill job requirements in the health care IT area. More»

Baker College Center for Graduate Studies has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Assembly of Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) located in Lenexa, Kansas, USA. The following programs in the following degrees are accredited by the IACBE: Masters in Business Administration. This is a reaccreditation of the MBA program offered by Baker College Center for Graduate Studies, and includes the following majors within the program: accounting, finance, general business, health care administration, human resource management, information management, leadership and marketing.
