Baker College of Cadillac To Host Express Classes For Entrepreneurs, Business People

Baker College of Cadillac is partnering with the Business Training Alliance (BTA) to offer Business Express Classes for area entrepreneurs and business people. To learn about and register for any or all of the upcoming classes, Baker's Cadillac campus will host an open house on Wednesday, February 22, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m., student center, 9600 E. 13th. Baker College of Port Huron, in cooperation with the St. Clair County KnowHow2Go initiative, will offer the first in a series of free career spotlight workshops on Friday, February 24, 2012, from 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., 3403 Lapeer Road, Port Huron. "It's All Business!" is open to all high school students and their parents, and anyone else interested in furthering their education and wishing to learn about opportunities in the exciting field of business administration.

Baker College of Clinton Township Appoints G. Miller as Pharmacy Technician Program Director

Baker College of Clinton Township officials have named Gary L. Miller as pharmacy technician program director. He is responsible for overseeing the pharmacy technician program, including providing students with a quality pharmacy education, addressing student issues and answering questions in a prompt and clear manner. Miller will also ensure that graduates from the program are prepared for the national certification exam and the challenges they may face in their new career. More»
Baker College of Auburn Hills To Hold Open House To Showcase Campus, Programs, Services

Baker College of Auburn Hills will hold a free campus-wide open house on Wednesday, February 8, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., 1500 University Drive, Auburn Hills. Open to high school seniors and to anyone interested in furthering their education, campus officials will be on hand to offer tours of the campus, financial aid counseling, admissions advice and transcript reviews. On Monday, February 13, at 6 p.m., U.S. Rep. John Conyers, Jr., will visit the Baker College of Allen Park campus, 4500 Enterprise Drive, Allen Park. The congressman will speak about Michigan's economy and what needs to be done to foster a better business climate. He will also address ways to promote job growth. The event is open to Baker College of Allen Park students, staff, faculty and the media.

Baker College Hosts Kick-Off Event on February 10 To Recruit “Champions” for Cancer Prevention Study

Goal is to sign up 50 task force members
Baker College, in partnership with the Great Lakes Division of the American Cancer Society, will host a "CPS-3 Champion" kick-off event on Friday, February 10, at 7:30 a.m., Baker College of Flint, Technology Building, 1050 W. Bristol Road, Flint. The goal is to recruit 50 area residents who will become members of the "CPS-3 Champion" task force and help spread the word about the importance of participating in Cancer Prevention Study-3, a historic nationwide study to help researchers better understand the genetic, environmental and lifestyle factors that cause or prevent cancer.
