Developing math skills through gaming technology
Baker College of Auburn Hills, in partnership with the P.O.W.E.R. Organization (Presenting Opportunities Winning Effectual Results), will present Family Math and Tech Affairs: Gaming for Youth Series + Adults/Guardians, a three-part series of workshops to help youth better understand math through gaming technology. Baker College of Cadillac is collaborating with the U.S. Green Building Council, West Michigan Chapter, to present "Building Sustainable Communities: Education and Outreach in Northwest Michigan," on March 23, from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m., in the Baker College Student Center, 9600 E. 13th. Baker's Financial Aid Workshop is designed to help area college-bound high school seniors and their parents understand and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2012-2013 academic year.
