Developing math skills through gaming technology
Baker College of Auburn Hills, in partnership with the P.O.W.E.R. Organization (Presenting Opportunities Winning Effectual Results), will present Family Math and Tech Affairs: Gaming for Youth Series + Adults/Guardians, a three-part series of workshops to help youth better understand math through gaming technology. The workshops will be held on March 10, April 14 and May 12, from 12:45 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. each day, on the Baker College of Auburn Hills campus, 1500 University Drive, Auburn Hills.

Baker College of Cadillac To Host “Building Sustainable Communities” Sessions

Baker College of Cadillac is collaborating with the U.S. Green Building Council, West Michigan Chapter, to present "Building Sustainable Communities: Education and Outreach in Northwest Michigan," on March 23, from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m., in the Baker College Student Center, 9600 E. 13th. St., Cadillac. The roundtable-format discussion is free and open to the general public, media, and Baker College students, faculty and staff. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain basic knowledge in various areas of sustainability and network that day in order to learn more about the topic. More»
Baker College of Auburn Hills To Hold Financial Aid Workshop

Baker College of Auburn Hills will hold its 2012 Financial Aid Workshop on Saturday, March 24. Baker's Financial Aid Workshop is designed to help area college-bound high school seniors and their parents understand and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2012-2013 academic year. The event is free of charge and open to all high school seniors, regardless of whether or not they have identified their college of choice. More»
