Baker College of Auburn Hills To Hold Financial Aid Workshop

Baker College of Auburn Hills will hold its 2012 Financial Aid Workshop on Saturday, March 24. Baker’s Financial Aid Workshop is designed to help area college-bound high school seniors and their parents understand and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2012-2013 academic year. The event is free of charge and open to all high school seniors, regardless of whether or not they have identified their college of choice.

The schedule for the Financial Aid Workshop at Baker College of Auburn Hills is:

  • 9:30 a.m. until 10 a.m.
    Registration and complimentary breakfast
  • 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
    “Meet the Deans,” financial aid workshop and program highlights
  • 11 a.m. until 12 p.m.
    Individual financial aid assistance and optional testing
  • 12 p.m. until 12:30 p.m.
    Campus tours

Financial aid officers will conduct the workshop, providing a profile and explanation of the various types of financial aid available to students. Detailed instructions for completing the online financial aid form will be part of the workshop. Admissions advisors will also be on hand to answer questions and offer information about Baker College of Auburn Hills.

Helpful, but not required, documents to bring include: 2011 federal and state 1040 tax returns for parents and students (if possible), and 2011 W-2 forms for parents and students.
