Baker College of Cadillac To Host Express Classes For Entrepreneurs, Business People

Baker College of Cadillac is partnering with the Business Training Alliance (BTA) to offer Business Express Classes for area entrepreneurs and business people. To learn about and register for any or all of the upcoming classes, Baker’s Cadillac campus will host an open house on Wednesday, February 22, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m., student center, 9600 E. 13th. St., Cadillac. Refreshments will be served and there will be door prizes.

“The classes, which will cover foundational business skills that entrepreneurs need to succeed, were designed to be convenient for the busy business person,” said Annie Shetler, BTA coordinator. “Classes are offered in a condensed time frame and are intensely focused.”

The schedule for the upcoming Business Express Classes is as follows:

  • March 7, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. – Budgeting and Financial Planning
  • March 12, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. – Presentations with Prezi
  • April 10 and April 17, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. – Introduction to QuickBooks (two-part class)
  • April 24, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. – Excel for Business
  • May 8, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. – Facebook for Business

The cost per class ranges from $45 to $180.
