Baker College of Cass City to Hold Senior Open House/Financial Aid Workshop

Baker College of Cass City, a satellite campus of Baker College of Flint, will hold its 2010 Senior Open House/Financial Aid Workshop on Saturday, February 6. Baker’s Senior Open House/Financial Aid Workshop is designed to help area college-bound high school seniors and their parents understand and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2010-2011 academic year. The event is free of charge and open to all high school seniors, regardless of whether or not they have identified their college of choice.

The schedule for the Financial Aid Workshop at Baker College of Cass City is:

  • 10 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.: Check-in and breakfast in Student Center
  • 10:30 a.m. until 10:40 a.m.: Welcome remarks
  • 10:40 a.m. until 11 a.m.: Introduction of staff; Q&A session
  • 11 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.: Financial aid presentation
  • Following presentation: Campus tours

Advisors will be on hand to provide one-on-one assistance in completing the online financial aid form, and to answer questions and offer information about Baker College of Cass City.

If available, please bring the following: 2009 W-2 forms for parents and students, 2009 Federal and State 1040 tax returns for parents and students, and 2009 untaxed income amounts (e.g., ADC, SSI, child support, etc.).
