“The Baker College of Clinton Township team was stressed in multiple areas and expected to perform to the highest standards,” said Lewis. “And they did! They truly set an example in every aspect of their performance.”

The Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition allows institutions of higher education offering an information assurance or computer security curriculum to assess students’ depth of understanding and operational competency in managing the challenges inherent in protecting an enterprise network infrastructure and business information systems.

The winner from the Midwest Regional competition will be invited to participate in the national competition, held in April 20-22 in San Antonio, Texas.
