Baker College of Flint Hosts Conference: “Survival Techniques For The Surgical Technologist”

Baker College of Flint will host the “Survival Techniques for the Surgical Technologist” conference on Saturday, April 14, from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., 1050 W. Bristol Rd., Flint. The conference is open to all surgical technology students and practicing surgical technologists throughout Michigan.

Guest speakers will address the following topics: sleep deprivation, nutrition, occupational hazards and the current science in stapling devices. Baker College of Flint massage therapy students will be on hand to offer free chair massages throughout day.

Attendees will earn five continuing education credits, approved by the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST).
