September 30, 2011

Baker College of Flint invites students from all area colleges to its Fall Festival, Saturday, October 8, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., 1050 W. Bristol Road, Flint. The festival, part of a series of activities in 2011 to celebrate the Baker College 100th anniversary, is sponsored by the Baker College of Flint Centennial Committee. All proceeds from the event will go toward the centennial scholarship fund.

An airbrush artist, photo booth and four midway games are among the day’s featured attractions. Free rides and activities include a pirate ship, turbo tubs, bumper cars, a rock wall and a mechanical bull. Food, including caramel apples, cotton candy, lemonade shake-ups and elephant ears, will be available for purchase. In addition, Bits & Bytes in the student center will be open during the event.

For students living at the Riverfront Residence Hall, a shuttle will be available to the Flint campus, operating its usual Saturday schedule. Students riding the shuttle will need to show their ID.
