Proceeds to benefit Jackson Symphony Orchestra Community Music School
Baker College of Jackson will host the 11th annual Spring Tea fundraiser on Saturday, April 28, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the student center, 2800 Springport Road. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Jackson Symphony Orchestra Community Music School (JSOCMS).

“This year, attendees will have the opportunity to help an organization whose mission is to provide high quality music education to people throughout the Jackson area,” said Patricia A. Kaufman, Ed.D., Baker College of Jackson President. “We are proud to once again host this worthwhile and fun-filled event.”

Local celebrities and business people will serve tea and a light luncheon. This year’s theme for decorating the tea tables will be “Songs,” in honor of the JSOCMS.

In addition to the tea and luncheon, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase items such as jewelry, hats and homemade salsa. Raffle tickets will be on sale to win original artwork by Charlene Pung, a handmade quilt and a weekend vacation getaway.

Tickets are $25 per person. Table sponsorships are available for $310 and include seating for the host and five guests, a table placard, and special recognition in the program and during the event.
