Baker College of Owosso Continues Its Fall Quarter Enrollement

Baker College of Owosso continues to enroll students for fall 2011 quarter. Classes begin Monday, September 26, with registration continuing through Friday, September 30, 2011.

“As Baker College celebrates 100 years of successfully preparing students for new careers, we invite adults of all ages to become a part of our long history,” said Peter W. Karsten, Baker College of Owosso president. “Fall quarter is the ideal time to begin pursuing the training and education necessary for a rewarding career.”

Baker’s Owosso campus will offer several new programs this fall. They include: a supply chain management bachelor’s degree, a human resource management associate and bachelor’s degree, an automotive and diesel service management bachelor’s degree, an HVAC service management bachelor’s degree, an agriculture technology associate degree, and a paraprofessional K12 special education associate degree. Other career programs available at Baker College of Owosso include welding, criminal justice, 9-1-1 telecommunications, medical insurance specialist, certified addiction counselor, diesel service technician, pharmacy technician, medical assistant, marketing, management, accounting, nursing, radiologic technology, medical laboratory technician, automotive services technology and elementary and secondary teacher preparation.

Baker College of Owosso students have access to financial assistance, including scholarships, grants, low-interest loans and work-study programs.
