Baker College of Port Huron Hosts Career Exploration Information Night

June 20, 2011

Baker College of Port Huron is hosting a free career exploration information night on Tuesday, June 21, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., in the student lounge, 3403 Lapeer Rd., Port Huron.

“This is the perfect opportunity for individuals who want to go back to school, but don’t quite know how to begin the process,” said Betsy L. White, Baker College of Port Huron vice president of student services. “Advisors will be on hand to discuss career options and answer a multitude of questions.”

According to Daniel Kenny, Baker College of Port Huron vice president of admissions, it is important to find a school that is the right “fit.”

“The best way to accomplish this is to visit the campus,” said Kenny. “At Baker College of Port Huron, we encourage all individuals, whether they are still in high school or adults considering returning to school, to come in and talk to us and get their questions answered. Career exploration information night is the first step toward a productive and rewarding career.”

Career exploration information night is the first in a series of events showcasing the various programs offered at Baker College of Port Huron. Refreshments will be served Tuesday evening.
