Free information sessions to be held Nov. 7 and 12
Baker College of Port Huron will be hosting free information sessions in November for individuals interested in learning more about its new culinary arts program, food and beverage management program, new associate degree program in chiropractic assisting and other health science programs at Baker College of Port Huron, 3403 Lapeer Road. The sessions are free and open to the public.

The sessions will be held on the following dates. No appointments are necessary.

• Wednesday, Nov. 7, 5-7 p.m.: Culinary arts program, food and beverage management program; demonstrations by Chef Thomas Recinella, program director of culinary arts
• Monday, Nov. 12, 5-7 p.m.: Chiropractic assisting associate’s degree program and other health science programs and careers

“This is the perfect opportunity for individuals who want to go back to school, but don’t quite know how to begin the process,” said Daniel Kenny, Baker College of Port Huron Vice President of Admissions. “At Baker College, we encourage all individuals, whether they are still in high school or adults considering returning to school, to come in and talk to us and get their questions answered. Career exploration is the first step toward a productive and rewarding career.”

Advisors will be on hand to provide detailed information about the programs, career opportunities in the field and financial aid. Separate appointments are available for individuals unable to attend the scheduled sessions.
