May 28, 2009

Jennifer Murray-Huffman, a junior in the interior design program at Baker College of Clinton Township, has won first place in the annual American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Michigan Chapter Student Design Competition. Murray-Huffman won $400 for garnering first place in the junior division of the competition.
“This comes as no surprise to those who know Jennifer,” said Lynnette Zaner, Baker College of Clinton Township director of design technology. “She is a very talented student and has participated in many extracurricular activities at our campus, including last year’s Designer Show House. Jennifer is to be congratulated for a job well done.”
Murray-Huffman received her award at a special ceremony during Student Career Days, held at the Michigan Design Center. Approximately 200 design students participated in the event, and 50 students entered the competition.
