A general education core is required for all Associate and Bachelor degrees. All graduates must meet the general education requirements established by each academic program.

College Success Strategies (COL111A) or College Success Online (COL112) is required for all first-time freshmen and all online students enrolled in a certificate or degree program. This course will inform students of campus services, policies and procedures, and address learning styles and study strategies.

As accounting and computer information systems grow more interrelated, it’s increasingly important to have a solid grounding in the technical aspects of recording, maintaining, and protecting financial information. Baker’s Accounting/Computer Information Systems program gives you both: the fundamentals of accounting and a solid foundation in computer software applications.

The utilization of the computer in information retention, maintenance, and summarization has greatly enhanced the accountant's effectiveness in presenting relevant, useful information. Students completing this degree will develop a combination of analytical skills and technological knowledge of benefit to any organization.
