Baker's Information Technology program with the Computer Networking Technology (Microsoft) major is designed and taught by industry professionals, and combines Windows coursework with additional courses to give you a solid foundation in computer operating systems and networking technology.
Through classwork, hands-on training and an externship, you develop your communication and business skills, and learn the industry essentials—network fundamentals, PC and server maintenance, system troubleshooting, and networking security.
When you graduate, you will be fully prepared to sit for multiple certification exams—Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP). Courses within this program also help prepare you for CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications. You’ll have the knowledge and credentials you need to begin a successful career.
