Accounting/Computer Information Systems

The Accounting/Computer Information Systems program reflects the interrelationship of these two disciplines in today’s business environment. Computer-based accounting systems that record, maintain, and summarize financial data have made it possible for accountants to present relevant, useful information more quickly and effectively.

In this program, you will:

  • Learn software applications as well as accounting and finance principles and fundamentals.
  • Develop a combination of analytical skills and technical knowledge.
  • Apply your knowledge and skills in real-world applications through internship and/or cooperative education opportunities.
