Coding Specialist
Coding is at the heart of both health care reimbursement and clinical analysis, which requires a highly trained professional.
In this program, you will:
- Learn how to assign codes to diagnoses, symptoms, and procedures using IC-9-CM and CPT-4 classification systems.
- Be eligible to take a coding certification examination administered by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) upon program completion. Those who pass the certification examination can use the credential CPC (Certified Professional Coder).
