Culinary Arts

Training and skill in the Culinary Arts offers a broad range of opportunities. People with culinary arts skills are employed in restaurants, hotels, institutional settings, delis, and catering companies.

In this program, you will:

  • Learn to artfully prepare culinary specialties and skillfully manage these respective operations through a combination of classroom, hands-on labs, and internship experience.
  • Prepare for leadership roles in the kitchen — chef and other kitchen supervisory positions.
  • Develop the knowledge and techniques used in quantity gourmet food preparation.

American Culinary Federation

The Baker College Culinary Arts Program is accredited by the
ACF (American Culinary Federation) accrediting commission. Successful graduates will be eligible to take their Certified Culinarian Certification examination.

Accreditation /Approval/Certification Status
External peer review is the primary means of assuring and improving the quality of higher education institutions and programs in the United States. This recognition is accomplished through program accreditation, approval or certification.

The ABA Degree in Culinary Arts Program is accredited by the American Culinary Federation accrediting commission.
