Kitchen and Bath Design
The Kitchen and Bath Design program prepares you for an entry-level position in the industry. Under the direction of professional instructors, you combine basic design principles and knowledge of technical and mechanical concepts to design environments that assure public health, safety, and welfare.
In this program, you will:
- Select and specify building materials, mechanical/electrical systems, building codes, appliances, and cabinetry
- Develop skills using manual and computer-generated applications to develop contractual documents and graphic presentations
Certification and two years of work experience may qualify students to sit for the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) Certification exam.

The Kitchen and Bath Design Program is accredited by the National Kitchen and Bath Association, (NKBA), 687 Willow Grove Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840; (800) 843-6522. (This program is accredited on the Auburn Hills and Clinton Township campuses and is NKBA Supported on the Muskegon campus).
