Truck Driving
The Truck Driving program prepares you for an entry-level position as a local or long-distance driver of tractor trailers, heavy trucks, dump trucks, and tankers.
The program:
- Is offered with multiple start dates throughout the year.
- Prepares you to sit for the State of Michigan Commercial Driver Licensing Class A exam.
- Meets all state and federal requirements for truck driver training.
Applicants for the Truck Driving program must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid operator’s license that is not currently (or within the immediate past 36 months) suspended or revoked.
- Meet all physical requirements specified in The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Provide/pass a current DOT physical and NIDA drug screen to Baker College.
