Baker College Professional Services, Inc. seeks to hire an individual to be assigned to the position of ADJUNCT FACULTY – SUPPLY CHAIN/LOGISTICS(PART-TIME) for the benefit of and to be located at Baker College Online (Remote Position - Online Delivery).
General Statement of Duties:
The primary purpose of the Part-Time Adjunct Faculty person is to teach courses in areas of their expertise.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Doctoral degree in business related field with concentration in logistics or supply chain management coursework preferred
Master's degree in business related field with concentration in logistics or supply chain management coursework OR Master’s degree not in a business related field plus additional 18 graduate semester hours in the areas of logistics/supply chain management required
Master’s degree candidates must possess one of the following:
Active professional certification related to supply chain management/logistics
Professional work experience in the area of supply chain management/logistics
College level teaching experience in the area of supply chain management/logistics
Scholarly achievements in the area of supply chain management/logistics
Work experience in higher education (teaching, curriculum design) preferred.
Experience teaching online preferred
Familiarity with an LMS (Canvas preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, video conferencing, andthe Internet required
Must have effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach a specified number of classes
Revise, review and/or develop curriculum, as needed
Complete all required professional development/training
Collect and submit required assessment of student learning data
Participate in appropriate campus and system committees, meetings, projects, and activities
Other duties as assigned
