Compensation: Salary based on education, experience, and existing wage rates paid for similar positions within Baker College Professional Services, Inc. Full benefit package.

Baker College Professional Services, Inc. seeks to hire an individual to be assigned to the position of ADJUNCT FACULTY - ACCOUNTING (Part-Time) for the benefit of and to be located at Baker of Auburn Hills


The primary purpose of the Adjunct Faculty person is to teach courses in areas of their expertise. They are responsible for teaching, developing curriculum, and providing content expertise for the undergraduate accounting programs.


  • Master’s degree in Accounting required
  • PhD, DBA, or be currently enrolled in a doctoral program preferred
  • Current Professional Certification preferred
  • Experience in curriculum development preferred
  • Experience with assessment of student outcomes preferred
  • Experience integrating technology into classroom teaching preferred
  • Must be computer literate and have knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills


  • Teach courses as assigned
  • Revise, review and/or develop curriculum as assigned
  • Collect, submit and analyze assessment of student learning data to drive continuous improvement
  • Provide service to their field through scholarship and professional activities
  • Attend Professional Development training as required
  • Attend campus and system meetings as required
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
