Baker College Professional Services, Inc. seeks to hire an individual to be assigned to the position of ADJUNCT FACULTY - NURSING CLINICAL (MEDICAL SURGICAL/MENTAL HEALTH/PEDIATRICS/OBSTETRICS) (PART-TIME) for the benefit of and to be located at Auburn Hills Metro Campus.
General Statement of Duties:
The primary purpose of the Adjunct Faculty person is to teach courses in Nursing Clinicals.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing with RN license, clinical expertise in identified nursing speciality required
Master of Science degree in Nursing with RN license and related work experience preferred
Current RN license and BLS (Basic Life Support) required
Previous teaching experience preferred
Must be computer literate with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, and the Internet
Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Must have the ability to travel to clinical sites and off-site system meetings
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach theory, lab and clinical
Revise, review and/or develop curriculum, as needed
Complete all required professional development/training
Collect and submit required assessment of student learning data
Participate in appropriate campus and system committees, meetings, projects, and activities
Other duties as assigned
