Baker College Professional Services, Inc. seeks to hire an individual to be assigned to the position of ADJUNCT FACULTY - OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY (PART-TIME) for the benefit of and to be located at Baker College of Auburn Hills Metro Campus.
General Statement of Duties:
The primary purpose of the Adjunct Faculty - Occupational Therapy (Part-Time) person is to teach courses in areas of their expertise.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Major required will be in accordance with the Academic Faculty Credentials Policy and Guidelines, as well as accreditation requirements per program. Master’s degree required. Doctoral degree preferred.
Work experience required will be in accordance with the Academic Faculty Credential Policy and Guidelines; Teaching experience at the college level and three years’ work experience in the related field is preferred.
Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist - State of Michigan – Required
Previous teaching experience preferred
Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Must be computer literate with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, and the Internet
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach a specified number of classes
Revise, review and/or develop curriculum, as needed
Complete all required professional development/training
Collect and submit required assessment of student learning data
Participate in appropriate campus and system committees, meetings, projects, and activities
Other duties as assigned
