Baker College Professional Services, Inc. seeks to hire an individual to be assigned to the position of ADMISSIONS ASSISTANT (PART-TIME) for the benefit of and to be located remotely with Baker College System Headquarters.
General Statement of Duties:
The Admissions Assistant is responsible for handling inbound and outbound interactions with potential and current students pertaining to admissions/enrollment efforts for the college.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Associate degree or equivalent from a college or technical school or 2 years full-time, work related experience in any discipline or work experience in a similar environment required
Exposure to auto-dialing environment required
Experience in a call center environment preferred or experience in sales, retail, or customer service
Effective written/verbal communication skills required
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel, and using Google Apps
Must be able to work remotely in home office with access to high-speed internet
Duties and Responsibilities:
Using a computerized system, responds to customer inquiries in a contact center environment using standard scripts and procedures
Determines eligibility by comparing student information to requirements; informs students by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing information
Develop and nurture relationships with prospects and influential contacts within the admissions pipeline
Understand, communicate, and adhere to company policies and procedures
Maintains and improves quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines
Other duties as assigned
