Join us in congratulating Jamie LeRoux, program director at Baker College’s Culinary Institute of Michigan (CIM) in Muskegon. LeRoux has been selected to serve on the American Culinary Federation’s Diversity & Inclusion Task Force. The newly-formed national committee will help to ensure the ACF is responsive to membership and industry needs relative to diversity and inclusion.
LeRoux, who recently celebrated her 20th year with CIM, began her volunteer term with the ACF D&I Task Force in August 2021, and will serve through the organization’s 2023 National Convention.
“Jamie’s leadership at CIM Muskegon is indispensable, and we’re so proud to see her taking those leadership skills to the national level with the ACF Diversity & Inclusion Task Force,” said Chef Tom Recinella, Baker College Dean of Culinary. “We’re confident she’ll make great contributions to the committee, and continue to positively impact ACF members and the culinary industry as a whole.”
Here’s a tip of the chef’s hat to Jamie! We wish her much success with this new responsibility and opportunity.
