Start your career as a paralegal in less time with an associate degree.

Law offices are exciting places to work, but you do not necessarily have to go to law school to work in one. Our associate’s degree paralegal program can help you learn what you need to start building a career as soon as possible.

This program helps you learn the necessary skills to effectively help lawyers with their cases. Paralegals may not provide legal services directly to the public, but they can help lawyers with many different types of tasks such as interviewing witnesses, drafting legal documents, conducting research, and assisting in court. Legal professionals teach our classes, so students learn from people who know best what skills and information is needed to succeed on the job.

In less than four years, many interesting new career opportunities will be available to you. As a graduate of this program, you’ll be able to seek out entry-level employment as a paralegal in any type of legal setting, including private law firms, government agencies, corporations, and other organizations.

I meant what I said about attorneys being envious and impressed by the program at Baker. I think that the way the classes are structured and the material that was covered helped me out tremendously. It really is a perfect combination of learning about the law and then learning what the practical application is...I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I am – all because I made one really smart decision – to enroll in the paralegal program at Baker. I know I worked hard, but at the same time, I recognize that I have also been very fortunate. You created a terrific program, and I am proud to be a Baker graduate.
