Working with very young children can be very rewarding, but what if you want to do more? If you’re a certified Michigan elementary educator with a ZA endorsement, our early childhood education ZA to ZS endorsement program can help you go further in your career. We’ve designed this program so that you’re able to get out there and start making a difference sooner.
**This program is on teachout and Baker College is no longer accepting students into the program**
This program provides teachers who currently hold the ZA endorsement with the knowledge and skills needed to add the early childhood ZS (General and Special Education) endorsement. Upon completing the program and passing the required state tests, teachers will be eligible to apply for the ZS endorsement.
The Baker College early childhood education ZA to ZS endorsement certificate program is a one-year program consisting of 12 credit hours of major course requirements. Our curriculum includes advanced infant and toddler care and curriculum, early literacy intervention and a 120-hour teaching experience.
The curriculum at Baker absolutely helped me. I had great instructors—instructors who were educators...it was important to me for those instructors to connect with me.
Program Requirements: Must possess a ZA Endorsement
