If you’re a certified elementary educator and want to earn your ZS endorsement, we can help. The ZS (general and special education) endorsement is one of the most versatile endorsements an elementary educator can have.

This program provides teachers with the knowledge and skills needed to add the Early Childhood ZS (General and Special Education) endorsement to their existing Michigan elementary teaching certificate.
The Baker College early childhood education ZS endorsement program is a one-and-a-half-year, NAEYC-accredited program consisting of 31 early childhood development education requirements. Our curriculum includes infant and toddler development and curriculum, parents and teachers: partners in education and a 120-hour teaching experience.
The curriculum at Baker absolutely helped me. I had great instructors—instructors who were educators...it was important to me for those instructors to connect with me.
Upon completing the program and passing the required state tests, teachers will be eligible to apply for the endorsement.
Program Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree
